@Fiendish-Beaver first, she took the job over 3 weeks ago now, but has been back in her second stint with MS since 2024.
Second, every feature implemented is EXTREMELY simple. They didn't build new features from scratch, they just slightly tweaked features they had with very simple things.
These were all the kinds of simple things we learned to do in software engineering. If you had just done these things as a final project you would have gotten an F.
Now if we had designed these systems from the ground up (like the entirety of the quick resume system and the whole framework of groups) rather than these being just simple tweaks to those, then we may have gotten passing grades.
Edit:
If you want to be skeptical and look for the angle here, look for the much more likely "let's do these because they are basically free pr" angle rather than the "this was impossible" angle, but it most certainly was not impossible.
