I've talked a fair bit on Pure Xbox about my love for Xbox Play Anywhere and how it's my favourite feature. Well, I'm feeling quite happy about it again, because the fantastic Cyberpunk 2077 appears to finally support Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning you get a free Xbox PC version included alongside the console one!

Rollout seems to be happening as we speak, because while the Xbox Play Anywhere tag appears on Cyberpunk 2077's Xbox Store page and as an 'Installable' game on the Xbox PC app, it still seems to prompt Cloud Gaming.

Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a big update later this week, featuring console mods and various other bits and bobs. This is a game that has always felt like it should already support Xbox Play Anywhere, and I was consistently disappointed whenever I forgot it didn't and tried to install it on my ROG Ally.

If you've already played Cyberpunk 2077 to death, there's plenty more Xbox Play Anywhere titles still to come this year, including Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which was just announced as coming to Xbox Game Pass this October, as well as rumours that Star Wars: Galactic Racer could get XPA support too.

What do you think of the news? Happy to see Cyberpunk 2077 get XPA support? Let us know in the comments!
