If you're a freebie lover, Amazon Prime subscriber, and all-around demon slayer, then you may want to consider picking up DOOM Eternal this month.

As part of Amazon Luna's September 2026 lineup, Id Software's 88-rated DOOM Eternal is free for Prime subscribers to claim and keep, with the Xbox PC version of the game available from September 17.

It's not a regular occurrence to see Microsoft codes included in Luna's monthly roundup, with Fallout 76, Minecraft Legends, and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus being the only notable Xbox codes I could sus out. Usually, it's just GOG, Epic, and Amazon codes, so it's nice whenever something Xbox pops up, even if it's only the PC version.

DOOM Eternal (2020) is the second game in id Software's modern trilogy of the iconic FPS. If badass metal tunes supporting the crunchy, fast-paced ripping and tearing of the forces of Hell sounds like your bag, then be sure to nab this one when the code becomes available later this month.

In order to claim your code, you'll need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber, then make your way to Luna's 'Claim Games' page on September 17 (or later) to snag your Microsoft Store code.
