Xbox Is Teasing Something 'Very Cool' For Game Pass This Month, Possibly Cyberpunk 2077

We've already had a great start to March 2026's Xbox Game Pass lineup, with the likes of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Planet of Lana 2 confirmed for this week, and it looks like we're about to get another massive addition to the service very soon.

In a teaserific post over on Twitter, the official Xbox Game Pass account has hinted that something very cool is "coming soon", with the letter v appearing in bold in the accompanying image. You can take a look below:

"Wake up social team, we've got a new game to add! I know we've added a ton of great games already, but you know what? There's no such thing as too many games on Xbox Game Pass. So many breathtaking worlds to explore...

This latest addition is going to be a v good one too. Stay tuned, because we've got even more games coming soon."

The focus on the letter v, along with the call to "wake up", is leading many to believe that Cyberpunk 2077 is about to be added to Game Pass. V is the name of the main character in the game, while Keanu Reeves' character famously mentions to "wake the f**k up, Samurai" in a classic trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 that was released prior to its launch.

There's every chance we're off-base here and it's a different game entirely, but the tease of something new combined with a mention that it's very cool (specifically highlighting the letter v) suggests to us that it's the CD Projekt Red title.

We should know for sure later this week (hopefully Tuesday), with a new batch of Game Pass titles set to be revealed by Microsoft. Stay tuned, and fingers crossed we'll have a date for Cyberpunk and other games in the very near future.
