Remember Hunter: The Reckoning for OG Xbox? Well, the vampiric series is back with another sequel - this time being developed by the folks behind Terminator: Resistance and Robocop: Rogue City, Teyon.
Yep, this was a super-unexpected reveal from the Xbox Partner Preview today, but Hunter: The Reckoning - Deathwish is indeed coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC in Summer 2027.
Here's a quick introduction to the new title:
"Vampires, Werewolves, Witches. What if I told you that the things that go bump in the night are real? What if I told you that you could see them? Awaken to the truth you're now a Hunter. Build your character, select skills, and work with a team of allies to investigate the monsters hidden in plain sight, to find their lairs, and to eradicate them. All the while, investigating a story that drags up memories from your past, ones that could change how you see the future."
The last game in this series arrived all the way back in 2003 — again for the OG Xbox — so it'll be interesting to see what the folks at Teyon come up with here. The introduction up above certainly looks pretty AAA in nature, and with Terminator and RoboCop under their belt, we're excited to see what this talented team can do with the series.
