After confirming a January 2026 release date back at TGS in September, Square Enix has just dropped a free demo for Final Fantasy 7 Remake on Xbox Series X|S; available now for all players!
The Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade Demo clocks in at roughly 20GB on Xbox Series X and S, and contains "the entire first chapter - the mako reactor bombing mission". We'll include a direct Xbox Store link to the new demo below:
"This is a demo of FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE. In this demo, players can enjoy the entire first chapter - the mako reactor bombing mission."
Aside from finally getting to try out FF7 Remake on Xbox of course, there are a few other reasons to download this demo and give it a whirl. First off, save data carries over to the main game when it launches next month - and also, the 'Revival Earrings' and 'Survival Set' bonus items can be earned by playing the demo, and will be available in the full game on release.
And well, that's pretty much it! You can go ahead and try this free Final Fantasy 7 Remake demo on Xbox right now, and the full game is set to launch for Series X|S players on January 22, 2026.
