With the creation of Vantage Studios, we're hoping that a Far Cry 7 reveal is coming sooner rather than later from the new Ubisoft label - but for the time being, the company is seemingly focusing on a new TV show based on the popular FPS series.
Announced this week, Ubisoft has revealed that it's collaborating on an upcoming TV series with Hulu. The show will take shape as "a brand-new Far Cry anthology series" with "a whole new setting and cast" separate to the games that have come before it.
Even with this fresh start, as you can see up above, the Far Cry TV show will contain "the exact level of chaos your therapist told you to avoid" - so yeah, expect this to be as mental as some of the stuff you've seen in Far Cry video games of the past. We're hoping it matches the heights of some of the older titles though to be honest; namely Far Cry 3 and 4!
Back in August, we heard that the two parties (Ubisoft & Hulu) were indeed collaborating on a "dark, absurd" Far Cry TV show, but at the time, it wasn't officially announced. Now it's all official and in the works, and we're curious to see how this one develops in the near future.
