Unless it can be retro activated from older games completed I don't really care for it tbh.
Also with all the shovelware games with a "mythic" achievement of there own kinda devalue it don't they??
I always preferred the way achievements work over trophies!
Someone who doesn't go for 100% in games can still have an impressive gamer score but a playstation profile just shows how many bronze up to platinum you have if you don't go for 100% in games it doesn't look as impressive.
Just my opinion.

I personally would prefer that the "Mythic Achievement" be a standalone achievement to be completed (that could theoretically be a very difficult accomplishment) but not tied to 100% completion. Just one achievement that requires way more dedication than any of the other achievements in the game. I personally have no desire to try to 100% every game I play just to get a specific trophy or achievement. Just make it one achievement, like for example the old "Seriously" achievement from Gears of War, or the one in Dead Rising 3 where you had to kill 100,004 zombies in a single playthrough. Something like that.

Im still going to call it 100 percented, also not going out of my way to get it.

Here’s a question Asha is either unaware of or doesn’t seem to care about: For the hardcore achievement hunter, the idea of a full 100% (including this new Mythic Achievement) being rendered unobtainable due to either bugs, server closures or some other reason is entirely unacceptable. What is she doing to ensure this unnecessary problem is being addressed?

A simple fix would be to file any online only, server dependent achievements into a different list separate from the core single player achievements, or force devs to construct achievements in such a way that there are backup redundancies for any online ones. ‘Kill X players with weapon X in multiplayer or campaign’, that type of thing.

Let’s carve out this tumor plaguing the achievement system since it debuted 30+ years ago, yeah?

Two things: firstly, make sure this is tied to the base game only. When add-ons take my gamerscore beyond 1000g and I've already got all base achievements it's annoying

Secondly, I still prefer emerald achievement 🤘

@Balaam_ Naaaah. I consider myself a trophy hunter and the list reflects your gaming history.

I've got a handful of trophies in Far Cry 6 and tons of other games that I thought were awful or I wasn't good enough to achieve some of the trophies so i stopped playing. I can look back at those and think maybe I'll give it a go again sometime or just as a reminder that it wasn't for me.

3rd party games do not and should not have to adhere to any ridiculous participation platinum trophies you keep harping on about.

If you have an undiagnosed debilitating problem looking at an incomplete digital list, I would get yourself checked.

I really like Sonys Platinum Trophy so maybe this can be a good idea!

Another thing added that I personally don't give a hoot for but I guess it will be cool for folks who chase achievements. 🤷‍♂️

Eh, not a great name.. or at least I need to get used to it. Reminds me of the Mythic Quest and all the absurdity (or reality) of the situation.
However, I don't really care about trophies, achievements or any of that c*ap, I'm here to play.
