Alongside Halo Studios' initial reveal of Halo: Campaign Evolved today, the team has also unleashed a full 13-minute demo of the series' iconic The Silent Cartographer level - which you can watch in all its glory via the link up above.

This extended gameplay segment from Halo: Campaign Evolved gives us a proper look at the game's updated tech; fully rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5. The team notes that this demo is "captured from a pre-release build on Xbox Series X" - so do bear that in mind.

"A full playthrough of the Halo: Campaign Evolved work-in-progress The Silent Cartographer demo from the Halo World Championship 2025, captured from a pre-release build on Xbox Series X."

On that note about a pre-release build, you can clearly see some artifacting here in both the opening cutscene and during parts of the mission at large - so this is definitely work-in-progress gameplay alright. Still, it's nice to get such a huge announcement accompanied by some proper extended footage rather than just a teaser trailer!

Anyway, we'll let you folks enjoy that video - and if you want a broader overview on what to expect with Halo: Campaign Evolved, be sure to check out our story on that down below.
