The Road to Requiem begins! Capcom has just released a short ViDoc building up to its Resident Evil Requiem launch next February - and pre-orders are now open on the Xbox Store as well.
The new Road to Requiem video — which we've included up above — focuses on 'the story so far' with Resident Evil - well, Resident Evil since Capcom rebooted the series with RE7, anyway. Here's how the team sets up Requiem ahead of launch early next year:
"Prepare to escape death in a heart-stopping experience that will chill you to your core. Technological advancements combined with the development team's depth of experience combine in a story with rich characters and gameplay that's more immersive than ever before."
In terms of that Xbox pre-order, RE9 comes in two different packages: the standard edition and the deluxe edition. Both come with a pre-order bonus of Grace's 'Apocalypse' costume when bought ahead of launch, while the deluxe edition also packs in the 'Deluxe Kit', which we'll detail down below. The two versions cost £64.99 / $69.99 and £74.99 / $79.99, respectively.
The Deluxe Kit contains the following content:
- Five costumes including Grace's Costume: Dimitrescu
- Two filters including Filter: Apocalypse
- Four weapon skins including S&S M232 Weapon Skin: Apocalypse
- Two charms including Charm: Mr. Raccoon
