Black Ops 7's Xbox launch is exactly three weeks away, with the latest Call of Duty title set to grace Xbox Game Pass on November 14th. However, fans aren't even being given time to digest what's in the base game right now - as Activision reveals an absolute shedload of content coming to the game as part of Season 01.
Yep, weeks before the main game launches, Black Ops 7 Season 01 has been revealed. In total, developer Treyarch is adding 10 maps during the game's first season - seven for multiplayer and three for Zombies mode, as the team tries to tempt players in with even more multiplayer and co-op content in this year's entry.

As you can see in the above roadmap, the infamous Nuketown map is also being added to the game right after launch on November 20th, and there's even more of Season 01 to be announced closer to launch. We don't have an exact date for Season 01's arrival just yet, but based on previous games, you can expect it to arrive sometime in December.
Although this year's game does feel like a bit of a Black Ops 6 re-skin, we can't deny that this is a lot of content to be delivering in and around launch - and COD players should be well served during the release window for Black Ops 7. Of course, the game also launches day one in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, giving subscribers an opportunity to try out the series' return to near-future warfare next month.
