Last month, Delta Force finally made its console debut - and despite promise buried in its military FPS bones, the game just didn't feel quite right on Xbox. Shortly after the team's console launch though, improvements were committed to - and this month's major update is our first evidence of those landing on Xbox Series X|S.
Starting September 23rd, Delta Force's 'Ware Ablaze' seasonal content arrives, along with some big improvements to the console version of the title. We're getting 120FPS support in certain portions of the game, fixes for controller / aim issues, and a whole lot more. Here's an introduction to Delta Force: War Ablaze, alongside some details on those all-important console improvements:
"Today, Team Jade is excited to reveal details surrounding Season War Ablaze, the latest Season update coming to beloved tactical shooter Delta Force. Launching for PC, console and mobile on September 23, Season War Ablaze features a new Recon Operator “Raptor”, the new “Fault” Warfare map, updates to Operations mode, major console experience improvements and more.
120 FPS Support & UI/UX Improvements on Console: Console players can now experience Delta Force in stunning 120 FPS, offering smoother gameplay. This upgrade will initially be available on a selection of maps, and will come to additional maps in subsequent updates. Additionally, a suite of controller handling optimizations including aim assist improvements and UI/UX improvements have been introduced to provide an even more intuitive and enjoyable experience, among other quality-of-life improvements."
In addition to these updates, the game is also teaming up with famous horror franchise SAW for an upcoming crossover - featuring "a SAW-inspired Operator and Firearm Appearances, a Billy-Wolf charm, a Billy-Wolf loot item and more". We'll chuck the team's SAW promo image down below, along with some details on the rest of the season's new content:

Experience a modern twist in a vintage setting with a high-octane dogfight across the ancient ruins, conquer unusual battleground using strategic combat from above or below, navigate unpredictable weather with dense fog acting as a friend or foe, and soar high above with the newly added F-45A Fighter jet.
-

As long as Ghroth stands, Tide Prison will never fall – Outmaneuver Warden or Raven in Tide Prison's new special missions and save Ahsarah from the abyss.
