In the wake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered dropping on Xbox a few months ago, it appears that Bethesda has dropped the price on a couple of its Elder Scrolls classics on the Xbox Store this week.
Both OG Xbox's Morrowind and the Xbox 360 version of Oblivion have had their prices cut down to $9.99 from $14.99. We're seeing these price changes appear on XBDeals too, and they seem to be permanent drops rather than any sort of temporary discount here.
We'll throw both of these games' Xbox Store links down below so you can have a look for yourselves.
The fact that both of these games have previously been on sale for $3 or $4 also suggests that this $10 price point is a permanent thing, although it also shows that both of these games can be had cheaper if you're willing to wait. Of course, they're also in Xbox Game Pass if you happen to subscribe to the service.
Anyway, we thought this was interesting news to bring your way, and we're assuming that the Oblivion remaster has something to do with it. Maybe it's time for Morrowind to get the same remaster treatment, eh Bethesda? We certainly wouldn't complain at that!
