If you’re looking forward to the next Kingdom Hearts game and have been waiting on a project update, you’re in luck.

Square Enix’s development team behind Kingdom Hearts 4 has today provided a new update mentioning how they’re currently hard at work on the new title and want it to be a game that lives up to fan expectations.

“To our Kingdom Hearts community, We’re currently working hard on Kingdom Hearts IV and will continue pouring ourselves into the game’s development. We’re dedicated to making this an experience that lives up to your expectations."

“We’ve seen how excited you are, and we are truly grateful from the bottom of our hearts. We are equally excited and can’t wait to share more about Kingdom Hearts IV when the time is right. Until then, we appreciate your patience. Thank you for your continued support. to your expectations!”

No specific details have been shared about the platforms this game will be released on and there’s no release date just yet, but more information will be shared when "the time is right".

To make up for this it's shared some new development screenshots which show off an updated Sora model and what looks to be a playable version of Mickey Mouse.
