Microsoft Rewards Adds Three Cheap Movies For Xbox Users To Redeem

A few months ago, we highlighted how Microsoft Rewards was practically giving away six big movies from the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit franchises, and we're kind of seeing the same thing with another bunch of movies this week.

Admittedly the selection is not quite as plentiful this time around though, nor is it as widespread. As you can see, the three movies are Miss Congeniality, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and The Mask, and they're all coming in at a very respectable 2500 Microsoft Rewards points each. Here's the evidence (hit the "read more" button!):

Unfortunately, the direct Microsoft Rewards link to this movie giveaway doesn't work for us here in the UK, with the program simply stating that "this item isn't available, either due to your region or log-in state". You may end up in the same boat, but it's clear that some people have been able to take advantage of it successfully.

If you are lucky enough to be eligible for these three cheap movies, they should appear in either the "Redeem" section of Xbox Rewards on your Xbox console, or the Microsoft Rewards landing page on an internet browser.

If you're able to redeem one of these movies, you'll be able to access it on Xbox via the Films & TV app, and the same goes for if you want to watch it on PC. Alternatively, once it's redeemed, you can head to the film's dedicated Xbox Store page and hit the "Watch" button, which will direct you immediately to the Xbox Films & TV app as well.

Obviously it's a shame that we're not seeing these Microsoft Rewards movies in all regions, but it's certainly nice to have more films popping up at decent prices - and here's hoping there's a lot more to come in the future.

Interested in any of these? Are they working for you? Which films do you want to see next? Tell us!
