Two Major Xbox Games Are Adding Crossplay Support With PS5 & PC

It's always good news when Xbox games add crossplay support with other platforms, and that's exactly what's happening today! Both Mortal Kombat 1 and Remnant 2 will now support crossplay with Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC.

Obviously both of these are a big deal, but Remnant 2 is perhaps even more interesting from an Xbox perspective considering the game is already included with Xbox Game Pass. So, if you were hoping to squad-up for some online co-op with your PlayStation or PC friends, you'll be able to do so from now on!

In regards to Mortal Kombat 1, it's been confirmed that a "Free Trial Weekend" will be available for the game on Xbox from March 7th to March 10th, and "Season 4: The Huntress" goes live today alongside the Peacemaker DLC.

We'll throw more details about the crossplay for each game down below:

Mortal Kombat 1 (Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC)

"Krossplay functionality in Mortal Kombat 1 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). The Krossplay feature will allow players to matchmake in Ranked Kombat League and Kasual Versus matches, invite friends for Private Versus matches, and view leaderboard stats across all supported platforms."

Remnant 2 (Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC)

“Crossplay has been one of the most player-requested features for REMNANT II, and our community has been so awesome waiting patiently for this feature to roll out. We’re so excited to launch this update today as the team has been working hard to make it a reality. There’s even more REMNANT II content to come, including the second DLC!”
