A major update landed for Halo Infinite this week, and the game's newest multiplayer map was already said to "evoke the feeling" of Halo: Combat Evolved in its design and overall look. While the jury may be out on that, players have discovered that new map 'Illusion' features an even more direct homage to the original Halo.
Tucked away into one of the map's rooms — which apparently opens up during matches of Infection — 343 has created a very cool gaming setup - featuring an original Xbox, an Xbox 360, a couple of controllers, and Halo playing on the big screen. That's not all for the Halo throwbacks coming to Infinite at the moment either. A new Halo Wars-themed Operation & Battle Pass have just gone live too - featuring 20 tiers of free rewards for Halo Infinite.
