Back during Gamescom 2023 the team behind Xbox Game Pass hit SnowRunner announced its next game in the series - and we now have a proper launch date for the title. Expeditions: A MudRunner Game takes the franchise back to its sludgy roots next March.
Unfortunately this one won't be launching day one on Game Pass, but it is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on March 5th, 2024 - and you can take a look at the game's latest trailer up above.
The series' last entry, SnowRunner, became a bit of a surprise hit on Xbox. Of course, Game Pass likely contributed to its success, but the game was doing well before its addition to the library - getting lots of updates post-launch. In fact, those updates haven't stopped - and they'll continue to arrive for both SnowRunner and Expeditions once this upcoming title releases.
We're intrigued to see how well Expeditions fares when it's out in the wild on Xbox next March. Oh, and of course we'll have our eyes peeled for any hints at a Game Pass release down the line. Nothing's confirmed yet, but SnowRunner came to the service a good while after launch - so you never know!
