Xbox Announces Eight Titles Coming To Game Pass At October's Indie Showcase

Today's Xbox indie showcase is officially in the books, and as we expected, it contained a decent amount of Xbox Game Pass reveals to dig into.

We're going to delve into the XGP titles for this article, but if you want to know more about all of the games showcased today, then be sure to check out our full roundup of all the reveals from the ID@Xbox Showcase 2026:

So, let's have a chat about these eight new Game Pass announcements. There's a solid mix of weird and zany indie games, featuring a couple of deckbuilders and platformers, as well as co-operative hole digging, frog-swinging, and a whole bunch more.

Note how there's even a couple of October 2026 releases in here too in the form of Scramble Knights Online and Mouthwashing, the latter of which was a complete surprise and not included in Microsoft's October Xbox Game Pass roundup earlier today.

Alrighty then, let's get on with it. Here are the eight brand-new Game Pass title announcements from Xbox's indie showcase:

Croak (March 2027)

"Tongue-grapple and pinball-bounce the frog prince across levels to reach the Witch’s Banquet in this hand-drawn 2D platformer. Each whimsical world has its own wacky boss, hidden collectibles, and a unique traversal ability. Grit your teeth! You're gonna CROAK"

Drill Keeper (Summer 2027)

"Build impenetrable fortresses of mining to defend against relentless hordes of aliens and make a name for yourself as a famed Drill Keeper! Roguelike deckbuilding meets siege defense as you travel the galaxy and dig through fully destructible worlds to strip them of their riches."

Mr Magpie's Harmless Card Game (TBD)

"A surreal corporate horror deckbuilder where you gamble your life for cash, dodge murderous JERRY cards, and “maximise synergies” to climb the company ladder in Mr Magpie’s office nightmare."

A Game About Digging A Hole™ Together (December 4, 2026)

"A minimalist game about digging a hole at the beach, now with friends. Dig together, collect resources, sell them, upgrade your equipment and search for a promised treasure buried deep beneath the sand."

Scramble Knights Online (October 26, 2026)

Red Kiss (2027)
