We can't take any credit on staff for this — the PX Game Club is the work of ralphdibny, Balta666 and the rest of the contributors over at the Pure Xbox forums, who have established a community that meets up every month to play a game on Xbox Game Pass and share their experiences. Games are voted on every month by the contributors involved.
The game for December 2023 is the Dead Space remake, which is available with Xbox Game Pass as part of the "Ultimate" and "PC" subscriptions. It's also included with EA Play if you happen to subscribe to that separately.

"I'll proudly say that Cocoon is a GOTY contender for me. I enjoyed it way more than some AAA titles from this year. It's up there as one of the best indie titles I've played, along with Tunic and Hollow Knight. You absolutely have to play it!"

"I finished Cocoon in only two sittings, it's only around 5 hours long, and enjoyed it start to finish. I thought the puzzle design was truly excellent and was tailored to just the right difficulty... for me anyway. There was no tutorial or manual, the whole game was the tutorial, you just learned as you went along.
I never needed a walkthrough, though there were times I was briefly stumped and thought about looking up the solution, but every time if I just stuck with it a little longer and tried something else... EUREKA! It's a brilliant feeling, it makes you feel smart."
