I wrapped up Spider-Man 2 earlier this week and have been contemplating on what to play next. I've been wanting to play Super Mario Bros. Wonder or Alan Wake II, but I think I'll hold off on those games seeing as how Like a Dragon Gaiden is coming out next week. Given that it'll be available on Game Pass day one, I thought it'd be fitting to subscribe to Game Pass now. I also saw that I was offered a two weeks trial for Ultimate for only €1, probably because it's been a long time since I was last subscribed, so I thought why not. Even though I only wanted basic GP.

So now I'm playing Cocoon and also the Dead Space remake. Tested out Cloud Gaming with Dead Space. What the hell have Microsoft done with this service? There's now waiting time before you can start up a game. That's absolute BS. The whole point of Cloud Gaming is so that you don't have to wait at all to start up a game. I waited 10 minutes to play Dead Space. And the quality wasn't even good! The screen constantly refreshed, there's minimal but noticeable input lag, the resolution was low and the frame-rate was below optimal. I then proceeded to download the game, which took 10 minutes (!), and it feels so much better to play now. Cloud Gaming still got a long way to go, even though the last time I tried it was two years ago. Basically nothing has changed during these two years, except the addition of queue time.

Anyway, Cocoon is a fantastic experience so far. I'm 1/4 through the game and like others have said, the game constantly makes you feel smart for figuring things out on your own without any hints given whatsoever. Wonderful palate cleanser to play now in between all the heavy-hitters (granted, I'd even rate this game as highly as the heavy-hitters).

I'm also planning on playing Forza Motorsport, Solar Ash, Jusant and Persona 5 Tactica (when it comes out) on Game Pass, on top of Like a Dragon Gaiden. Great time to be a subscriber!

@LtSarge @Balta666 I haven't been able to get into Xcloud immediately since Starfield came out. It's a MASSIVE problem for the future.

There may be some who are used to online, waiting 5 minutes in a lobby, and that think this is OK. But for me who only plays single player, and has been spoiled this gen with near instant load times, it's a MASSIVE downgrade. Hopefully that is not the future...

@LtSarge Absolutely not acceptable for me... and yet people do it the whole time when they play online with matchmaking. I've always though THAT was mad forever. Different horses and all that.

Just finished Cocoon and got all the achievements. Very easy 1000 G in my opinion.

Cocoon is simply brilliant. Just when you think you've seen it all, it throws another curveball at you. This game seriously has some inception-level of puzzles, it's so cool. Although it got so intense that my head started to hurt towards the end lol.

I'll proudly say that Cocoon is a GOTY contender for me. I enjoyed it way more than some AAA titles from this year. It's up there as one of the best indie titles I've played, along with Tunic and Hollow Knight. You absolutely have to play it!

Finished the game just now. The first half was more enjoyable for me as the puzzles weren't too difficult. But the second half was completely beyond me and I had to look up alot to progress the game. It was a good time, but quite difficult to wrap your head around some of the puzzles. Good game? Sure is. But in terms of Indies on the service, it doesn't hold a candle to sea of stars imo. Worthy of a playthrough, but if you're a dunce like me, you may need a guide.

@Balta666 I had planned to vote for Ghostwrie Tokyo this month (a game that Iam interested to play at some point in time) and suggest that we add "Like a Dragon the Man who Erased his Name" to the list of games to choose from hehe.
