Capcom has released more details on Exoprimal's big Monster Hunter Crossover, ahead of the event kicking off on January 18th, 2024. The collaboration will bring a new MH-themed mission, a collection of Monster Hunter skins and more to the Game Pass title early next year.

You can catch a glimpse of the action in the trailer up above, which showcases some of the new content on offer in the Monster Hunter-flavoured third season of Exoprimal. And here's a bit more about the upcoming Season 3 collab, straight from the team:

"The Exoprimal x Monster Hunter collaboration includes a ferocious new mission where Leviathan conjures a Rathalos and swarms of Velociprey for a combat test unlike any other. Exofighters must join forces in the Spacetime Abyss and hunt as a team to survive against the iconic fire-breathing “King of the Skies” in a 10-player co-op boss battle.

Alongside the Monster Hunter collaboration, Exoprimal Season 3 will introduce an additional boss encounter with the arrival of the Neo Triceratops, four new Beta variant Exosuits, the Jungle map, plus new rigs, modules, and more."

This isn't the first time Capcom has introduced some of its existing IP into the Exoprimal world. During Season 2, the team let loose a Street Fighter crossover as part of its extensive post-launch plan. Season 4 is already is the works as well!

Remember, this is all included with Xbox Game Pass as Capcom's co-op dino shooter remains a part of the library following its launch back in July. Speaking of which, it sounds like that day one Game Pass launched really helped Capcom's revenue for the game in 2023!
