Stalker 2 has been one of the most highly anticipated Xbox exclusives of the past few years, and it feels like we're finally starting to get close to its arrival, especially considering it'll be in attendance at gamescom 2023 next week.
There's been a lot of speculation about whether it'll emerge on Xbox & PC before the end of 2023, and if an apparent new release date is to be believed, we might be in luck! As spotted by Twitter user Andrew Marmo, distributor Plaion (previously known as Koch Media) is now listing Stalker 2 with a date of December 1st, 2023.
Since then, Marmo has pointed out that Amazon Germany has also updated the date to December 1st, and a few other social media users have chimed in to suggest that they've seen the December 1st date at certain retailers as well.
It does seem like it could be the real deal, then, although there's certainly no guarantee considering that December is a month that's often used for placeholder dates, and developer GSC Game World hasn't confirmed anything yet.
Fingers crossed we'll get a definite answer next week at the big event in Cologne!
