This reveal trailer has certainly piqued our interest! Ahead of the team's Kickstarter campaign, Beer Night Studio has revealed a first glimpse of its upcoming asymmetric horror title Carnival Hunt, which looks to follow in the footsteps of Dead by Daylight, Friday the 13th, and other multiplayer horror games of that nature.

Carnival Hunt's twist on the genre is that four mechanical 'Bunnies' must work together to survive, by winding each other up via a set of keys that have to be used up each round. At the same time, the 'Carnival Monster' will hunt the bunnies down, consuming their precious keys.

"Step into the horrifying asymmetric world of Carnival Hunt where one among you plays as the Carnival Monster while the others play as Bunnies. In the survival of the fittest, either the Bunnies will prevail in their escape or the Carnival Monster will succeed in their hunt.

Play in first-person POV where no-one has the advantage of situational awareness. You never know who or what is lurking behind you."

For now, Carnival Hunt hasn't revealed its full target platform list, aside from a Steam PC release arriving sometime in 2023. Games like Dead by Daylight originally launched on PC first before eventually making their way over to consoles, so with enough success on PC, we could well see this one come to Xbox in the future.

The game's Kickstarter campaign will begin real soon, where hopefully we'll find out a little more about the game's release schedule, and maybe even some stretch goals for an Xbox release. Either way, it leaves a pretty strong first impression with this teaser trailer!
