Back in October, EA finally showed some gameplay of its upcoming Dead Space remake, which officially launches on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in January 2023. Our first taste of the game's current-gen makeover left us wanting more, and well, EA has now provided that courtesy of IGN.

The team has just dropped almost 20 minutes of gameplay on us, and we must admit, this is looking like a very thorough remake with a visual overhaul and even additional dialogue. The dev has decided to drop Xbox One with this re-release, focusing on modern tech with a current-gen-exclusive launch.

Bare in mind that this is PC footage shown off here, but we have few doubts that it'll look just about as good on Xbox Series X. Hopefully we see some console footage in the coming weeks to appease us!

Ahead of Dead Space's launch for Xbox on January 27th 2023, you can save a bit of money on your pre-order if you're an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber. We do love that EA Play integration!
