It's crazy to think we're now just under four months away from the release of EA's Dead Space remake on January 27th, 2023! With the launch fast approaching, we've been treated to our first proper look at gameplay with a new trailer.

While the trailer is only a couple of minutes long, it gives us a good look at the game's seemingly jaw-dropping visuals, along with some snippets of combat. The unsettling, gory atmosphere of the original seems to be on-point as well.

As you might expect, Dead Space will be a current-gen only release when it arrives in January (meaning there's no Xbox One version), and based on the stunning footage and screenshots we've seen so far, we can definitely understand why!

You can check out the brand-new trailer above, along with some more details below. Pre-orders are now available on the Xbox Store for standard and Digital Deluxe versions, while Limited Run is handling the Collector's Edition. All Dead Space purchases on the Xbox Store are discounted by 10% if you're an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member.

"The sci-fi survival horror classic Dead Space returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up to offer a deeper and more immersive experience. This remake brings jaw-dropping visual fidelity and suspenseful atmospheric audio, as well as new gameplay content and improvements while staying faithful to the original game’s thrilling vision."
