The Game Awards 2022 is the last big event of the year, and it's scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 8th — live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles — beginning at 4:30pm / 7:30pm ET / 12:30am GMT. We also now have a list of all the nominees, and as highlighted by the Xbox team, Game Pass is heavily represented.
Altogether, 17 games that are included with Xbox Game Pass are up for at least one award at The Game Awards 2022, with some of them looking at multiple nominations! In fact, A Plague: Tale Requiem is being considered for five potential awards including Game of the Year, while Immortality and Tunic both have three nominations each across various categories as well.

- TMNT: Shredder's Revenge (Best Action Game, Best Multiplayer)
- Total War: Warhammer III (Best Sim/Strategy)
- Tunic (Best Indie, Best Action/Adventure, Best Debut Indie)
- Two Point Campus (Best Sim/Strategy)
- Vampire Survivors (Best Debut Indie)

If you're curious, the main Game of the Year award is between A Plague Tale: Requiem, Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, Stray and Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

This is just... sad. There is a saying in latin countries. Can't cover the sun with one finger. Clearly this doesn't fix the first party output. 2023 would be a weak year again if Starfield doesn't hit. Everything else looks like it won't move the needle.
Im currently playing Plague Tale and Game of the Year? Uhhh...no.

No idea how dune got in there? People must have found a hidden tutorial that I didnt. Uninstalled after 45 minutes of not having a clue what was going on 😀
I think GP had had a pretty poor year, but if you look at these titles, even in a poor year the service brings us good stuff, certainly enough to underscore its excellent value....
