It's a pretty big day for Gotham Knights, which has just added two brand-new online multiplayer modes for free on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S (along with other platforms), with both of them based around co-operative play.
The first of these is called Heroic Assault, which allows players to team up in squads of four and compete across 30 floors of action, defeating enemies and working on challenges along the way. The second is called Showdown - a two-player mode in which you can "confront supercharged versions of the game’s main DC Super-Villains", with legendary gear on offer if you're able to take down its bosses.
In addition to these new modes, don't forget that Gotham Knights is still part of the Xbox Black Friday sale 2022 until late on Wednesday, November 30th, where it's discounted by a pretty impressive 40%.
Although Gotham Knights divided the critics at launch, we here at Pure Xbox had some very kind things to say about it, giving it a "Great" 8/10 review score and calling it a "dark, dense and surprisingly gripping adventure".
