"A wide variety of titles are included from iconic series such as Street Fighter and Darkstalkers, Cyberbots, and the first home console port of Red Earth! And of course, all titles support online play! This is the perfect collection for both arcade veterans who remember the titles, and those who want to get into them for the first time!"

Original story (Mon 21st Feb, 2022): Capcom has revealed that 10 of its classic fighting games will form a new collection, hitting Xbox this summer! The Capcom Fighting Collection brings some of the company's more obscure titles to modern platforms, including some that have never been released outside of Japan.

The two previously Japanese exclusives are Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge and Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire. There's also another newcomer, as Capcom classic Red Earth makes its way over to home consoles for the very first time, having only previously released on arcade machines.

The rest of the collection is as follows: Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire, Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness, Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, and Hyper Street Fighter II.

What's especially cool with these re-releases, is that they're all being brought online. Capcom will be integrating online play to every single fighter in the collection. Oh, and for you online fighting fans, that includes rollback netcode for smooth online play!

Of course, offline play is also included for solo players, with every game except Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo also getting a new training mode.

There's quite a lot to go at then with the Capcom Fighting Collection, which launches on Xbox One on June 24th, 2022.

Will you be digging into this classic collection in the summer? Let us know in the comments.
