We've stumbled upon an interesting little discovery from a Twitter user, who has pointed out that the Microsoft Store on PC appears to be suggesting the potential removal dates for various current Xbox Game Pass titles.
By heading to the Microsoft Store app on Windows 10 and then searching for your game of choice, you'll see in many cases that the game is discounted by 20% up until a certain date — and that date could potentially be when the game will be removed from Xbox Game Pass. However, this should not be taken as confirmation.
There are far too many games on Xbox Game Pass for us to list them all, but here are some of the biggest:

As mentioned previously, the dates above should not be taken as confirmation, as the Microsoft Store is known for changing dates around constantly — just because a game says its sale is ending on February 1st, it doesn't necessarily mean it's actually going to leave Game Pass on that day. In other words, don't go panic buying just yet.
Some of these definitely do add up, though. Hades, for example, was added to Xbox Game Pass in August 2021, so it would make sense if it leaves in August 2022. The same goes for Outriders, which joined the service in April of 2021, and will likely depart around April 2022. Some of the other dates seem a little less likely, but possible.
It'll be interesting to see if the likes of Control and The Medium are announced for removal in early February, but for the time being, don't read into this too much. If you want to check a specific game for yourself, search for the "Microsoft Store" on Windows 10, type in the name of the title, and if it's on sale for 20% off, look for the end date.

Some of those dates appear to be tied to one year on the service so they make sense to me. Let's see in february if it matches

Still need to finish DQ11S. Good to know I have at least a year left lol.
I guess we'll just have to wait for the games that are leaving on 31st January to be announced and see if A Plague Tale, Control and The Medium are some of them.
I feel like this is something that Microsoft should be doing normally in order to help people make better decisions in terms of what to play next. It's a common complaint that you never know when games will leave, so having a list like this would definitely be reassuring for a lot of people.
It's one of the things they REALLY should do with Game Pass is give us a leaving date so we can prioritise properly. Seems like such an easy win.
I understand not all dates may be fixed, they may be fluid based on how a title does, but then we can have a worst case and an asterisk.
If they wanted to go a step further they could integrate a calendar into the "play later" feature so we can see when all the games we have added to our list will leave and again prioritise.
Well, we will know in a couple weeks if all this is hogwash or not. Though I say it is already because they give at least a half a month warning when games are leaving.
That would be great if DQ is really 2023, because I stopped thinking I was near the end and recently found out there's apparently 2 more acts.... I'd like to have the summer to get back into that.
Crap! If true i need to get going on the Medium, Plauges tale and Control
That would be a bummer as so many titles "leaving soon" are in my wishlist. I hope this info turn out not being true.
@NotoriousWhiz I got the plat on my ps5. The game is so good. Dare you to shoot for 1000 gamerscore on it. That ultimate boss will have you throwing your controller at the wall.
Hmm. While these may not be confirmed good to know a few that may be leaving. Control going 1st Feb seems soon when we've heard nothing else, but if we hear next week it IS leaving then it'd give the rest more validity.
I bought Control in the Christmas sale so if it is going I'm glad I can finish it now. Besides that the only one I worry about is Hades.
Keep in mind MS can always “Re-up” the time like they did with DQ11s.
