Two More Battlefield Expansions Are Free To Claim On Xbox This Week

In the latest round of EA giving away Battlefield expansions for free, we've been treated to DLC for both Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 in the form of 'Naval Strike' and 'Turning Tides', which anyone can claim for the next few days.

Battlefield 4 Naval Strike

"Battlefield 4 Naval Strike takes the intense and dramatic water-based combat introduced in BF4 to four all-new maps set in the South China Sea. Blow open a crashed passenger plane in the tropical Lost Islands. Nansha Strike features the largest ocean stretch yet in a Battlefield map where the weather and waves constantly change the battle.

Drop a submarine on your foes in the naval base or rush between the shipping docks and rocky islands on the massive Wave Breaker map. Storm an abandoned cliff-side resort in Operation Mortar for combat on a scenic overview. Naval Strike also introduces five new weapons, the amphibious hovercraft vehicle, ten assignments and brings the Carrier Assault game mode which is a re-imagining of the classic Battlefield 2142 Titan mode with aircraft carriers."

Battlefield 1 Turning Tides

"Conquer land, air, and sea in the amphibious battles of the Great War. Storm the beaches of Gallipoli with the Allied forces or defend the Ottoman Empire’s fortifications at Cape Helles. Continue the battle at the Achi Baba hilltop in an intense infantry-focused push.

Engage in the epic naval clashes of the North Sea between the British Empire Royal Marines and German Navy in Heligoland Bight. Take part of the daring British raid at Zeebrugge with rough waves and a vast German mole. Turning Tides extends the arsenal by introducing the new L-Class Destroyer ready to rule the waves in naval combat and the new C-Class Airship delivering death from above."

Once you've claimed them, they're yours to keep forever, and you've got until the end of the week to add them to your library. Keep in mind the base games of Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 can be played with EA Play / Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as well!
