FIFA 22 opened its early access doors recently ahead of its full release on October 1, and while we've had a positive experience on Xbox Series X, it appears Xbox Series S players are suffering an assortment of issues.

Concerns surfaced on the day the EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 10-hour trial began, with many reporting problems such as blurry visuals, pixelated textures and slowdown in the menus. This is the opposite of what most players are experiencing on Xbox Series X, which boasts a substantial upgrade.

A massive thread has even appeared on the EA Forums attempting to raise awareness of this issue. 69 pages in, and one user complained about "how little attention this [issue] is getting", adding that "the game is literally unplayable". This comment prompted a community manager at EA to reply, claiming that the issue is "getting a lot of attention" and is "a priority" for the team.

"It's getting a lot of attention. I assure you this is a priority. When we have some news to share, we will. I understand it may seem like a simple issue, but if that were the case, it would have been fixed by now. Thanks for sticking with us. We'll get this handled as soon as we can."

At the time of writing, the thread has extended to 72 pages, with many still claiming they've tested the game on various monitors and TVs, but the problem persists. There still doesn't appear to be a proper announcement from EA outside of the thread, with the FIFA Direct Communication social media account not raising the issue publicly.

With many, many users reporting issues such as this across multiple channels, we do hope that a solution is delivered sooner rather than later. With players demanding refunds and compensation, we can't imagine the fanbase's patience will last much longer.
