There's no denying Forza Horizon 5 is an absolute stunner. It looked gorgeous even during the 1080p Xbox Gamescom 2021 stream, and now the 4K footage has dropped, delivering the full jaw-dropping experience in all its glory.

Playground Games has released footage of the first eight minutes of the game, and anyone who has played the series before will know how crazy the series' intros can be. It seems to have been turned up a notch here, with full-on storm chasing, off-road jungle exploration and driving on the side of volcanos for good measure.

It sounds nuts and we can't wait!

"Presenting the first eight minutes of Forza Horizon 5, exploring our expansive version of Mexico. Featuring Forza Horizon 5’s cover cars, the Mercedes-AMG ONE and the 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands, and landscapes such as the active, snow-capped Gran Caldera volcano, a dust storm in the Mexican farmland, and dense jungle tree canopy."

We mentioned earlier this year how we hope Forza Horizon 5 leans into the series' absurdity a little more. With the fun multiplayer modes and now single-player content such as this, consider us happy. It's looking to be a visual showpiece for Xbox Series X and Series S when it hits on November 9, and it's also coming to Xbox One and PC.
