One of the best parts of Xbox Game Pass is being introduced to games we would have never have even dreamed of playing. Curse of the Dead Gods is one of those titles, an isometric roguelike hitting Xbox Game Pass tomorrow.

On a quest to find treasure, you stumble upon a temple which seemingly never ends. Incorporating roguelike elements as you battle various enemies and dodge numerous traps, death is never the end. You'll be bought back to fight again and again to collect new weapons and become more powerful. Sounds like another particular game coming to Xbox Game Pass next week known as Hades.

Key Features:

-
A skill-based roguelike exploring a cruel, dark temple made of endless rooms and corridors

-
Swords, spears, bows, guns - wield these and many more

-
Unique curses influence each attempt, putting a twist on every action

-
Dozens of enemies, with powerful champions and deadly bosses to face off against

While the first half of August isn't throwing any huge Xbox Game Pass titles our way, with games such as Curse of the Dead Gods and Dodgeball Academia coming this week, it's a great excuse to check out some lesser-known experiences.

The service has seen some fantastic inclusions in recent weeks, with The Ascent, Last Stop, and Microsoft Flight Simulator joining the ranks. It's great to see so many varied titles get the spotlight in Xbox Game Pass.
