Halo Infinite

Since its delay last year, Halo Infinite has got back on track. There seems to be some concerns though about assassinations. YouTube channel TheReachWay raised discussion about them earlier this week - noting how there's been no mention of this mechanic so far.

If you've ever played a Halo game before, you'll know how important assassinations have become in the multiplayer component of the series. It seems there's been no demonstration of them in Infinite to date - even during key moments of the multiplayer gameplay trailer.

The same YouTube channel believes there are three possible outcomes:

  1. Assassinations are in the game, but not shown.
  2. Assassinations are coming post-launch.
  3. Assassinations are scrapped for good.

As unlikely as the third scenario might be, who knows what may or may not make the cut in Infinite. Hopefully, we just haven't seen them yet, but with the multiplayer technical preview creeping closer as well as the full release, it would be reassuring if 343 Industries could show them off sooner rather than later.

The same video goes on to mention why assassinations need to be included in Halo Infinite, in case 343 does see it and for some reason hasn't included them. Take a look for yourself:
