We didn't have this on our 2021 bingo card. Robocop is coming to PC and consoles in 2023 in a new game known as Robocop: Rogue City.

It's being developed by Teyon, the developer behind the recent Terminator: Resistance. While that wasn't a perfect game, it did capture the feel of the movies better than anything else before it, and was fairly ambitious. It mixed in elements from games such as Fallout 4 and other open world RPGs.

According to a Steam description, you'll engage in a "first-person, explosive hunt for the truth" as you uncover a series of crimes in the city. It also sounds like you'll have a bit of choice, as "you have the power to decide how to fulfil prime directives in your own way". Sounds interesting.

Become the iconic part man, part machine, all cop hero as you attempt to bring justice to the dangerous, crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit. Armed with your trusty Auto-9, factory-built strength, years of experience on the force and a variety of tools at your disposal, you will fight forces seeking to destroy the city you call home in an all new first-person, explosive hunt for the truth. You have the power to decide how to fulfil prime directives in your own way, but as the story unfolds proceed with caution because corruption and greed know no limits.

The teaser trailer was very brief and really only showed us some CGI footage of the titular character. That being said, if it follows on from the foundations formed in Terminator: Resistance, you can count us on board.
