New Forza Horizon 5 Details Confirmed

Forza Horizon 5 is, well, on the horizon, and it's shaping up to be a pretty ambitious title. Being the fifth entry in the franchise, the gameplay will be ramped up yet again, and some new confirmed details from Playground Games instil a lot of confidence.

A ton of ground was covered by the team in a recent blog post. A new feature that particularly shouted out to us is the inclusion of convertible cars, which can have their roofs controlled via a click of the thumbstick. There was also the acknowledgement of fan favourite features making their returns, such as drag racing and barn finds.

But of course, the main reason everyone is probably reading this article - flamingos. Playground Games has revealed there will be a host of animals across the landscapes, including "flamingos, wild dogs, donkeys, goats and more". Not only that, but the team has answered the much requested question: "Will there be sheep?"

The answer is yes: "Bighorn sheep confirmed!"

On top of all of this, there will be "over 100 new rims, 100 new visual upgrade parts, thousands of new performance upgrade parts, plus the ability to paint brake callipers". Not only that, but the character customisation is getting a massive overhaul to include elements such as pronouns and the ability to add prosthetic limbs.

If this wasn't enough, Forza Horizon 5 will also introduce dynamic storms which will roam the map. You'll even be able to chase these storms across the map, which itself is the largest in Horizon history. Overall, it's sounding to be a great new entry for the franchise, and we can't wait to dive into it with Xbox Game Pass this November.
