As Minecraft Dungeons has passed its first year since its launch last year, Mojang Studios has released some of the stats for the game, and they're pretty eye opening.
Obviously the most interesting stat is how many unique players have checked the game out. Since its launch last May, over 11.5 million unique players have downloaded the game and given it a spin. This is obviously helped by the inclusion into Xbox Game Pass on day one. Some of the other statistics included consist of damage taken, blocks travelled, and more. This numbers are sitting in the billions, meaning players have been sticking around to check the game out.
Here are a few interesting facts to glance over:
- 419,311,294, 165 blocks walked.
- 1,177,182,684 health potions used.
- 13,101,256,799 items used.
- 527,014,211 TNT thrown.
- 1,586,239,178,178,095 damage done.
Minecraft Dungeons has also seen Xbox Series X|S support this year, along with cloud save functionality between systems. Back in February, the developer confirmed the game had hit 10 million players, so a further 1.5 million have checked it out since then. It's an impressive feat, and it's great to see the game continue to be supported.

Fun game with coop. I liked how items and skills worked and upgrading. I like having all the pets follow me around.
Played it for a few hours with my son when it first came out. It wasn't bad but after a few hours my son and I found ourselves asking why are we playing this instead of Diablo.
It's is a great game for younger kids who might find Diablo too intense but for the older crowd you might as well play Diablo.
IMO this game is so underrated it's not even funny. It's a great rpg looter and do recommend.
@Tasuki does Diablo 3 have a series x version?
Proud to be one of those 11.5M unique players. I don't know how many TNT I've thrown, though. 😆
