The Annual EA Play Live Event Returns This July, A Month After E3

Update: We now have a time to put to the date, as it's been confirmed EA Play Live will air on July 22 at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 5PM UTC / 6PM BST. Not only that, but it's also been revealed that it will be hosted by WWE star Austin Creed, who is also known for the popular gaming YouTube channel, UpUpDownDown.

We're still not sure what to expect from EA Play Live, but we do know "a new way to play Battlefield" is in the works to be announced. Along with that, we have reports of Dead Space making a comeback. We'll find out in a month!

Original Story: EA has announced that its summer event 'EA Play Live' will be returning as usual on July 22, which puts it just over a month after the conclusion of E3 2021. Until now, EA has typically aligned its show with with the annual E3 convention.

No further details have been provided at the moment, but fans are already speculating about which games we might see, from Battlefield 6 (which is now expected to be revealed in June), to the usual slate of yearly sports titles.

As always, we'll be covering the event here at Pure Xbox, and we'll share more details when we have them.
