In response to supposed leaked images that weren't really "leaks" at all, Double Fine has released three brand new 4K screenshots of the upcoming Xbox release Psychonauts 2.
It shared all of these shots via social media - noting how anyone who wants "some new high rez stuff" just had to ask. So, here are all three shots above and below, in all their glory! View those other photos here.
The Double Fine Twitter account also shared a "lower rez" image - we're not entirely sure what to make of this one...
Psychonauts 2 is currently scheduled to arrive on Xbox later this year. It's also been confirmed the first Psychonauts game will be coming to Xbox Game Pass next week on 13th May. Xbox has even released a special trailer to celebrate:

I don’t think Psychonauts 2 will be exclusive to Xbox as it has previous publishing deals. But this is looking great so far.
Psychonauts 2 is also coming to PlayStation 4/5, I was a donor to the crowdfunding to it.
@Vincent294 @Senua Yes, of course! Just to clarify it's coming to Xbox, PC and PlayStation platforms. I expect the Xbox release to be the definitive version.

@teraflop797 Different genre, different artistic style and vision. It is supposed to give the player a trippy experience. Also this is a crowd-funded multiplatform title and not a AAA next-gen exclusive.
It’s a shame that 🦄s always talk about how they have all these wonderful “exclusives” to play yet they still got time to come here on a Xbox site to defend their overlord and tell you how they absolutely hate Xbox platform and do not want it to succeed. 🤮

Every platform we want to succeed, without the competition the companies will back off and relax and probably not produce the good work they do as much.
I can’t believe fans are that crazy they think a competitor failing and leaving the market will be a good thing.
Also there is not one perfect console or one perfect company, I have moans about all three justified or not.
Never played the original, so might give that a go when it hits Game Pass.
Looks very nice.
