You're probably well aware by now that MLB The Show 21 is PlayStation Studios' very first release on Xbox, so it's a pretty historic title even if you're not a baseball fan, and it officially released in early access this past Friday.
And because it's a PlayStation Studios title, that means we're left with the bizarre scenario in which the game boots up with a PlayStation intro... on an Xbox console! It's not unexpected, but it's still pretty crazy to see in action.
Here's a look at the Series S version (it's the same on Xbox One and Xbox Series X):
The standard version of MLB The Show 21 officially drops on Xbox Game Pass this coming Tuesday, which Sony recently suggested was a decision made by the MLB itself "to bring the franchise to more players and baseball fans."
It's a strange situation all around, but we're very glad to finally see MLB The Show on Xbox in any case!

Haha I literally don't even think I've played a PlayStation game new enough to have that PlayStation Studios banner on it anyway. I normally wait for big sales!

I own all 3 so maybe Im biased to the hype but I honestly dont get the big deal.
MLB published it on Xbox but Sony developed it so their logo was bound to feature.
@TheFrenchiestFry probably not as I think Bethesda will still show as the publisher. But nothing would surprise me after this past year.
Will be interesting to see if Xbox logos appear on Deathloop or GhostWire. I mean they haven't on Minecraft.
I'm thinking they won't personally. Xbox didn't develop any of these games in house, from scratch like MLB was. It would be bad taste imo for them to be all, 'we own them now so here's our logo in your face'. Might even turn some Sony peoples from buying the game entirely.
Maybe down the road we'll start seeing Xbox Studios or something.. but again that hasn't happened for Minecraft in how long.. I don't know if they really care as long as you're buying the game.
About XGS logo on PS, that's already happening on Minecraft Dungeons.

I like the new game-specific Playststion studios opening. Would have been funny if MLB’s opening highlighted general Sony games like Miles Morales’ does! Either way. Fanboyism has got to go. I own a PS5, XSX, Switch, and RTX 2080 Ti and I love them all.
@TrueAssassin86x Minecraft Dungeons on PS4 (and Switch) had an Xbox Game Studios logo. And that game released last year.
I bought Minecraft Dungeons and both Ori games on my Xbox S, because it would mess with my mind too much to see Xbox Games logo coming up on my Switch or PS4. Likewise, I get weirded out when I see old Spider-Man games on the Xbox 360.
