We're fast creeping up on the release of the highly anticipated Mass Effect Legendary Edition on May 14, but before then, EA and BioWare have started the hype train rolling with a bunch of gameplay and details over the past few days.
The latest bit of marketing has arrived in the form of an official side-by-side comparison trailer, which shows the remastered versions stacked up alongside the original Xbox 360 games. Without a doubt, the new versions are looking much cleaner (particularly the vehicle sections), and we can't wait to play these classics all over again!
You can watch the trailer above, and here are some screenshots from the video:

I am waiting for an EA play day 1 announcement but wont happen now 🤣 looking forward to it though.
I'm certainly going to be in the minority but I'm honestly underwhelmed. Disappointed that this trilogy wasn't really brought all the way to modern standards.
@Generik its EA. By their standards this is modern standards.
Looks very definitely ok!
I honestly prefer the original character models, and the lens flare isn't an effect that I'm a fan of.
It definitely looks better, even if it doesn't necessarily hold up against modern games. To be honest, I'm more interested in the gameplay enhancements/improvements than I am in the visuals; I was pretty lukewarm on the prospect of replaying ME 1 and 2 (never played 3) but the more I see and hear about the supposed gameplay updates, the more I want to revisit these games.
I think it looks perfect. Up to modern standards but without changing the general appearance and style of the game. Exactly what I wanted.
Kinda similar type of upgrade as Xenoblade on the Switch.
not impressed
Looks about as good as it can be without a mafia-style full remake. Count me in
Bits look better, bits look worse. Will wait to see reviews.
