The Microsoft Edge internet browser for Xbox has infamously never supported mouse and keyboard throughout the entire Xbox One generation, but it looks like that's all about to change with the new version.
As highlighted by The Verge's Tom Warren on Twitter, Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring are now able to use mouse and keyboard near-flawlessly with the new Microsoft Edge app:
It's fantastic news, as this opens up the possibilities for Microsoft Edge on Xbox considerably. The web version of Microsoft Office, for example, now works via the app, and even Google Stadia games can utilise mouse & keyboard.
There's no official date for when we can expect the new version of Microsoft Edge to roll out publicly yet, but it looks like the Xbox team is making some really good progress with it. Hopefully it's just a few weeks (rather than months) away!

Great. Now you can always attend those boring meetings while playing on Xbox.

Bit of a head scratcher it took this long.. but welcome none the less! Now I've got to look into a lap solution for this.
Took them FAR TOO LONG to impliment this, but glad its coming rather than not.
I'd never use this over my PC but it's good for those that don't have that option
@carlos82
