Sea of Thieves recently introduced seasons, dramatically changing up how players interact with the game. After a successful Season One, Rare has announced that Season Two will be underway beginning on April 15.
Very little is known about the season so far, but a short teaser trailer has provided us some juicy details. One of the first things we can see is a devilish fort in the distance, suggesting a deadly presence is going to be awaiting players. But on a more fun note, there seems to be a new emote where players can hide in a barrel. Could make for some interesting games of prop hunt!
The evolution of Sea of Thieves over the years has been staggering. It's done so well that it was recently awarded a Bafta for 'Best Evolving Game', which is rightfully deserved. We're interested to see how seasons play out in the long run, but so far it seems to be all good.

I'm weary of going back to SoT. I plan on spending a weekend "being more pirate", next thing you know, it's already been two weeks since I've played anything else. 😨
I still never played it and don't actually know how lol. Last time i tried i had some 10 year old chirping me for being a noob as well lol. Might have to google what i actually have to do
Season 1 was really good. The pass got people chasing gold and goals again. Can't wait to see more new stuff but hoping for more ships on each server.
@Krzzystuff Solo sloop is a good place to get your feet wet. The gold earning loop is pretty basic but kinda serene; however, when other players show up it can be sheer terror, lol. Playing with friends is ideal.
I just recently hit level 100 on Season 1, it was an absolute blast!
Cannot recommend the game enough, it's just so much fun with a mate or three
@Krzzystuff They added a 'Maiden Voyage' which you can launch from the title screen. It's a lovely little intro to the game and definitely worth checking out even for long time players too!
