We're now just two weeks away from the release of Hood: Outlaws and Legends on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and the game will reportedly feature ray-tracing on the next-gen consoles.

This was confirmed in an interview with Wccftech, where Game Director Andrew Willans explained that the team was targeting "a solid 60fps and ray-tracing", although the final resolutions hadn't been confirmed yet:

"We’re targeting a solid 60fps and ray tracing for both consoles, and the final resolutions will be confirmed (after optimisation) and communicated before launch."

Willans was asked a little further about the optimisation process for the Xbox Series S in particular, admitting the team was "still not at the end of that optimisation journey yet," so wasn't possible to go into specifics.

If you haven't been keeping track, Hood: Outlaws and Legends is a PvPvE multiplayer heist game in which two teams of four players compete to execute the perfect heist. It'll be with us as soon as Monday, May 10th, with early access beginning on May 7th, and it's available to pre-order now over at the Microsoft Store.
