Halo The Master Chief Collection Have Over 10 Million Players On PC

The comeback story of Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been pretty incredible to watch play out. When it first launched, the servers pretty much made the online unplayable for a lengthy amount of time. Yet here we are, all these years later, and not only does the game run like a dream with seemingly endless support, the PC version has managed to bring in over 10 million players alone!

In a lengthy Xbox Wire post discussing the future of PC gaming for Xbox, the impressive figure was shared. Since its release on Xbox Game Pass for PC back in 2019, over 10 million players have checked in to revisit some classic Halo games. Perhaps more surprising is how the "vast majority" of these players are brand new to the franchise.

"There are also millions of people opting to use their Xbox Game Pass membership to play. We launched Halo: The Master Chief Collection at the end of 2019 on the PC as part of Xbox Game Pass for PC; since then, over 10 million players have played it, with the vast majority of them being brand new to the franchise."

It's a fantastic achievement and the game is still being heavily supported today. Brand new seasons with unlocks and maps are being added on a regular basis, and there's even a Custom Game Browser being introduced to the game. While we wait for the upcoming Halo Infinite, there's plenty of Halo goodness to get stuck into - with over 10 million other players ready to help you.
