If you don't want to use a credit card to pay for your Xbox games and memberships on the Xbox Store, you could be in luck, as a survey has suggested that paying via the popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin could be a possibility in the future.
As spotted by one Reddit user, a survey is reportedly being pushed out to members of the Xbox Insider programme. One part of it is seemingly asking about the payment options available at present and what users would like going forward, and as you can see below, one of the possible choices is Bitcoin.
While this isn't official confirmation, and is most likely just Microsoft testing the waters, if you want your voice heard about Bitcoin and are part of the Insider programme, now is the time to make your stand. Any interest in this?

It wouldn't replace normal money, it would just be another option. No reason to oppose that.

Didn't realize Xbox Live was a part of the black market.
Personally - I think Bitcoin will either crash or become heavily regulated. Either outcome will destroy its value.
Id stay away from using it for everyday transactions.

Wow! This is quite something in terms of corporate strategy. The Blockchain's games based on NFTs (Enjin anyone?) wil revolutionize the way we play video games. If XBOX were to capitalize on that, the media world wild change in view of how many video games players are out there (10B?) and will bring the cryptosphere (the blockchain's ecosystem) to the masses. I can see that happening.
