Square Enix has dropped a new trailer for Marvel’s Avengers, which highlights many of the next-gen features coming to Xbox Series X|S.
Arriving on March 18th, the free upgrade will push Marvel’s Avengers even further with higher resolutions, faster loading times, increased frame rates and cross-gen multiplayer. It looks like a decent upgrade and one that fans of the game will welcome with open arms.
“Marvel's Avengers on Xbox Series X|S is a redefined adventure complete with new and improved features. Visual upgrades and detail, fast load times, improved destruction and more.”
Alongside the next-gen update, Hawkeye is also being added to the game, again free of charge, alongside an all-new mission chain. More heroes are being promised in the future, so no doubt we’ll find out who's next relatively soon.

Can't wait to finally finish this game. I put it on hold when i found out they were doing a Series X update and now that i have the system, i can finally finish the game! Super excited!
Have they clarified between the PS5 being listed as having a 4K 60FPS checkboard mode and the Series X only having one mode?
I'll play it in gamepass...when is it coming? They already said they are looking to see how the game as a service pans out for it....so likely not good and will be shut down in a year or so. Get it in gamepass and have more people give it a go. I'm sure some will like it and maybe drop a fee bucks...not me...I'm cheapofillipo. I'll play the campaign as it's supposed to be fun.
@blinx01 They haven't come out and said anything publicly as far as I'm aware (aside from apparent emails that have supposedly been sent to certain players).
I'll wait for the 60 fps patch
I really wish the digital would go on sale again for half price, like the physical version is on Amazon right now. At this point, I'd buy it. Regretting not picking it up when it was on sale, and I have some expiring MS Rewards burning a hole in my pocket.
They blew an opportunity to launch on Game Pass. It would've been a big boost this game needed.
and here I thought there'd a pic of a smiling Hulk in the article.
If it's 30fps on my S I'm gonna be hulk sad.
