Respawn's fantastic Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order received an Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S patch earlier this year, but now it looks like a dedicated next-gen version of the game might be on the way as well.
As highlighted by Gematsu, the game has seemingly been rated for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S by the German USK games rating board, and these are new ratings in addition to the older last-gen versions.
Jedi: Fallen Order isn't currently classified as "Optimised for Xbox Series X" due to the previous patch improving the game via backwards compatibility. At present, it runs at 1440p, 60FPS in performance mode on Xbox Series X.

@BrilliantBill It's much better now on the modern systems. I sold Fallen Order when I had it for the OG Xbox One, it performed so poorly at times.
@BrilliantBill Just remember that you are playing on a One S. This game was visually stunning and ran perfect on my One X when I 100% completed it. I can only imagine how amazing it would look on my Series X!
It is so beautifull right now on Series X. Don't need another patch, in my opinion.
Maybe just a re-launch of the game, with a box mentionning clearly "Series X / S" on it ?
I 100%ed it recently (the main campaign on normal difficulty) on my series X at 60fps mode. Ran and looked amazing! The loading times sucked though. I guess that's one thing they will fix with a native release.
It was a baptism of fire as I went to Dathmir first and hadn't really played a game with stance breaking combat before.
Brilliant game!
