There's not a whole lot of choice for wrestling fans on Xbox (or any console platform) at present, so you'll be glad to know that indie arcade title RetroMania Wrestling will finally be releasing on Xbox One on March 23rd.

Previously, the game had been slated to arrive on all platforms on February 26th, but it only made the Steam for PC release on that date due to some more tweaks that needed applying to the console versions.

In case you don't know, RetroMania Wrestling is an arcade style sequel to WWF WrestleFest from 1991, featuring a story mode, local multiplayer for up to 8 players, various match types and variations, and some famous wrestlers including The Road Warriors, Tommy Dreamer, Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder), The Blue Meanie and many more.

The game currently holds a "very positive" rating on Steam, and it will initially be on sale at a special price of $24.99 before later reverting to $29.99. That said, pre-orders won't be available prior to release.

RetroMania Wrestling is the official sequel to the classic arcade game Wrestlefest that was released in 1991 by Technos of Japan. RetroMania Wrestling will be a “pick up and play” arcade wrestling game with beautiful 2D sprites, incredible backgrounds and fast-paced arcade style game play.
